| Cotton polished cords or wax cords are available
in two main constructions - Round or Oval cross sections and
Flat cross sections
Wax Cord (Round)
Construction
Round wax cords or polished cords are basically
cotton braided cords with round or oval cross sections. Various
strands of cotton yarn of different counts in sheath and core
are braided together (either in single head or double braid)
to give them the lateral stability. Braided cords are then
processed in AZO free chemicals to impart aesthetic look of
leather (hence these are often known as leather look cord
)
The round cotton polished cords are made in
different diameter ranging from 0.5mm to 6 mm. and are available
in more than 41 shaded.
The cords above 3.0 mm are made exclusively
on order basis

Wax Cord (Flat)
Construction
Flat wax cords or polished cords have very similar
construction to that of round wax cords besides that it has
odd spindle braiding of cotton yarn of different counts in
braids
The flat cotton polished cords are made in different
width 2.0mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm. These are
also available in more than 41 shaded.
